"Dear Steve,
We are delighted with the valet service you provided to our cars yesterday.
I have personally cleaned and polished all our cars (too many to count over the 53 years we have both been driving). I thought I was better at it than anyone else I know. Yesterday you demonstrated that I am just an amateur. They both look magnificent.
The Mini should come up well (having only done a few thousand miles) but my Volvo is seven years old now. However it genuinely looked as though it had just come off the production line, when you had finished.
Our neighbours in ********* Gardens (Sevenoaks) are used to seeing me drive past in a clean car. Today I got several “second looks” and complimented by my neighbour on the outstanding finish on the Volvo.
Thanks again for an excellent valet service you provided and we look forward to another visit from you after the summer journeys have taken their toll!"
