The above pictures show the results obtained from one of our Engine Bay Valets. This procedure involves insulating of the electrical components followed by a thorough degreasing and rinse of the bay.The engine bay is then dryed and a dressing is applied to all rubber and plastic surfaces and buffed to a sheen. Where applicable metal polish is applied.

 

This  Procedure is included in the Platinum Valet, or can be added to any of our other valets for as little as £7.50 (price dependant of vehicle size)

Recent Valets

Honda Jazz

This car had originally been booked in for a Bronze Valet to be carried out after the Easter Holiday's. Unfortunatley as well as eggs the Easter Bunny also brought snow to Kent this  year, leaving the car with arches caked in muck, and water and salt stains alone the length of the vehicle. The customer requested to upgrade to a Silver Valet where a Traffic Film Removing agent would be applied to the lower third of the vehicle to breakdown the embedded dirt. After the wash process was completed a layer of Polish was applied to the paint work, and buffed leaving a gloss finish.

Volkswagon Beetle

The owner of this new style VW Bug had recently purchased the vehicle from a friend. Although the car was in good condition mechanically and externally the interior was in a bit of a sorry state to say the least. The upholstery was covered in a mixture of mud, dust, oil and water stains, and so was booked in for an "Interior Only Valet". We were a bit pushed for time but managed to work on the car for  a period of just under 3 hours using the shampoo/extraction machine and  then giving all the interior plastics a thorough shampoo and dressing. As you can see from the pictures below quite an improvement was made, the owner was well impressed with the transformation.

Volvo V70 Estate

The owner of this Volvo V70 enquired about a full valet after he had received one of my flyers through the post. At the time had had only just completed washing the vehicle himself, but said he would make a booking in a few weeks time. True to his word I received a call a few weeks later and the car was booked in for a “Gold Valet“. A period of just under 4 hours was spent on the car and this included an application of wax polish, the upholstery/interior being shampooed and then the car was fragranced with “New Car Odour” via the fogging machine. After I had completed the car and it was checked over by the owner I was asked if I could carry out the same procedure on his wife’s Mini (see further down page). Mini

This new style Mini was also treated to a "Gold Valet". Our usual procedure was carried out , taking around 3.5 hours to complete. All of the exterior trim and plastc's had a gel applied to bring back a nice deep black sheen. Being a relativley new car the with paint still in good condition and so a polish was not applied, instead a layer of meguiars wax was applied to protect the paint and deepen the gloss fininsh.
